Campus initiatives
Marymount University has several service activities that occur annually. These include:
- Go Baby Go! an event where students build cars for children with mobility challenges
- Food for thought a student-run organization that works to alleviate local food insecurity and promote sustainable living through urban agriculture
- Design-athon an annual initiative that focuses on varying aspects on design for improved living
- HalloweenFest a campus-wide event that invites underprivileged children to trick-or-treat on campus
- Special Olympics Basketball Tournament - an annual tournament hosted in partnership with the Virigina Special Olympics
