Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC)
November 30, 2017 ·
Marymount University's Food for Thought members spent last evening sorting vegetable and herb seeds for AFAC's Plot Against Hunger program. The variety of seeds that were donated by Lake Valley Seed astonished everyone! Capers, Brussel sprouts, artichokes were mixed with heirloom mortgage lifter tomatoes and Japanese mizuna and shiso (and all the normal crops). Thank you to Prof. Susan Agolini and her students for helping organize our seeds for 2018 spring planting. #PlotAgainstHunger
